The perlon cord can be cut, but the steel cable cannot be shortened.

The higher the D-ring is placed on the back of the frame, the less it will tilt forward. Larger D-rings may cause more tilting. 

Hooks can support up to 6.5 kg (14.3 lbs) on perlon cords and up to 15 kg (33 lbs) on steel cables.
